Meet the Owner
Lauren acquired Blue Moon after working with the previous owner for almost 7 years before being made partner and purchasing it in early 2019.
She has been ACA certified since 2004 and has given kayak instruction and tours up and down the East Coast start in the DC/MD/VA area where she grew up. She has spent the last 12 years in South Florida giving tours in Miami, Broward, Palm Beaches and the Keys.
She is passionate about the waterways here in South Florida and sharing the history of South Florida with locals and tourists alike. Lauren has continued to increase her knowledge and safety for her guests by attaining her USCG 50 Ton Captains License, Fire Safety and Life Saving training (STCW) for life boats. She is now pursing her Dive certifications to become a dive master and instructor as well.
